Is this a good deal?
http://buffalo.craigslist.org/pts/1896330046.html
The slugs will have to be changed though for a more street friendly 12:1 and heads will be more street friendly around 320 cc intake runners(119 comb chambers if it makes a diff.)
It might be too much bottom but its easy enough to use the bottle to make it worth it..
whaddya think?

Those heads for $2,800 might be worth it, depending on how much work and who did the work on them. My B1's cost me a whole bunch more than that.

your not going to get a big block to run happy on todays gas at 12:1
i wouldn't go much over 10 really on todays pump gas on one, small blocks you can get away with more with the better chambers of the heads. the block is at its final bore so if there is a mark in the cyls it would need to be sleeved, its a so so deal but your getting used block at its max bore, used rods that likely need new rod bolts and gone over, a set of pistons you can't use but might be able to sell for a bit. a dominator intake and carb that isnt real great on the street.
