  GM IS FINALLY GETTING IT!General Motors and Chevrolet officials have announced that Chevrolet will compete in the 2012 IZOD IndyCar Series with a new twin-turbocharged, direct-injected V-6 racing engine powered by renewable E85 ethanol fuel.
The American automaker will join current IZOD IndyCar Series engine manufacturer Honda, which announced earlier this year it would build a new V-6 power plant, designed by Honda Performance Development for the series in 2012.
