It's been17 years since Lambrecht Chevrolet closed its doors, and its remaining inventory is going up for auction. Among the offerings are never-owned cars going all the way back to the 1950s.

For 50 years the Lambrecht family sold cars at their Chevrolet dealership in Pierce, Nebraska. Lucky for enthusiasts, they didn't make a priority of liquidating their old stock.

The decision was reportedly not an easy one for the family, but the owners, now in their 90s, decided it was time to let the cars go.

Nearly 400 cars and trucks will be available along with the entire inventory of the dealership, which includes parts, signs, and tools.

The auction listing promises the auto offerings will include a 1956 Cameo PIckup with under 10 miles on it and a similarly traveled 1963 Chevy Impala.

No doubt one of the more popular listings will be the 1969 Camaro SS, complete with still shrink-wrapped wheel covers. It's 427 cubic inch V-8 engine has reportedly never been run.

The sale is scheduled for late September and will be handled by VanDerBrink Auctions.
