Fuel mileage
Just curious what kind of mileage you guys are getting with your 3rd gens. Mine is a 91 5L tpi engine, t-5 Trans 3.23's, 275/35/18 rear wheel. I have k&n filters, cut out air box, airfoil, manifolds and stock pipe with a Flowmaster.
My last tank if fuel I got 460 Kim's out of 50.3L of regular. Works out to 25.9 mpg or 10.8 l/100 Kim's.
What are you guys getting?

Re: Fuel mileage
98 with a 6.2L does about 600km+ to a 58L tank
Drove from Detroit to Kingston and hit the red around the 600 km marker around the On Route pit stop during the Ligenfelter weekend last year. Put in 52L during that fill up. Wasn't babying it or intent on saving gas during that drive back.
That puts me around the 28mpg mark.
If in city, I get around 375 km/tank, but I usually fill up with 1/4 to go and around 300km. So it eats up a good chunk more gas in city for me.

Re: Fuel mileage
I am getting 9-10L/100km in the 3.8L Firebird....rush hour commuting from West Mississauga to Midtown. I am pretty happy with that, considering if I do the same run in a brand new 4 cylinder car (couple weeks back I did a new Kia Forte) I get about 7.5L/100km.

Re: Fuel mileage
I got 650kms on a tank going to Florida once...T56 with 323 gears and 305TPI with a small cam. Coulf get 450kms on the hwy with the H/C LT1 with 4.10 gears...but it liked the throttle a lot more.

Re: Fuel mileage
Got roughly 450-500 boltons lt1/m6 with 4.10s. With the built 355 h/c motor I got about 400-450 maybe more if I could keep my foot out of the throttle The 69 I have no idea the odometer doesn't work lol. Doesn't appear to be bad for a carbed L6

I get about 400km on 3/4 of a tank if it's all highway.

Re: Fuel mileage
728 km/tank to Elliot Lake from home couple weeks ago in the 5th Gen with driving slightly faster then the speed list about 20 over in some spots!
The 91 got 400/tank average
