Its pretty wild what is out there just sitting in barns and fields..those are worth mega bucks!

I watched the first of the 2 shows (Fast_N_Loud_S04E21_Holy_Grail_Firebirds) on the cars.
He bought them from a guy for $70K, then turned around and sold them for $345K-unrestored, and $700K if restored in 60 days, to a museum owner.

I think these cars deserve better than a 60 day rush restoration. Also looks like there will be
not much more left original other than the VIN plates. They are just buying everything new out of the catalogs.

For that kinda $$, they could have bought a properly restored/survivor donor car, and transfered the parts.

But...we'll see how it goes in part 2 tonight.

Instant gratification from a 60 day rebuild - these cars deserve much better IMO.
'Reality' shows like Fast N Loud simply aren't reality. This program now has zero cred with attempts to sensationalize and gratify fast bucks. Their dubious announcement around the origins and facts surrounding these two firebirds is the real headline.
Like the man before them, John DeLorean later de evolved into a cocaine snorting, womanising wreck of a human being. But he brought us some really cool cars.
