Starter King
So I needed to repair my DelcoRemy starter solenoid...crispy case...and ended up at Starter King, just down the street from OK Tire on Shornecliff.
Took 3 trips as no one was ever there, but Sat got lucky.
Long story short...owner has been in business forever, shop is still active and prices were amazing.
He brought me out a replacement, all new rebuilt. When I asked the price...he says "...same price for 35 years" $15 !!!
...now if I could only find a proper cage nut in this city.

Re: Starter King
No. There used to be an alternator guy in the Kipling/Bloor area that had great prices also, but he is gone.
There is one in the Islington and Finch area I used last time.

Re: Starter King
I just priced out a starter for my car. Cost was $115. It must just be a hobby for him.
