Re: Trans Am to replace my Trans Am
Thanks for the comments. The previous owner drove it an nothing else. I cleaned the K&N air filter, changed the oil (dirty), put a new fuel filter in it and changed the little vent breather inside the breather (crank case vent!?). Last night I put new plugs in it since when I checked them before, the front passenger one had the ceramic cracked. Good thing I changed them....when I removed that same one last night, the plug broke into two pieces. Next year I will change the diff. fluid and leave it at that. The previous owner also had a 2000 T/A, auto, WS6 for sale but he wanted $19000 for it. It also had Corvette rims on it and he did not have the stock rims. Not to be biased but I prefer the stock wheels and a 6spd. lotsatas....I purchased it in August so I have been enjoying it a bit. It will go to storage on the 18th.

Re: Trans Am to replace my Trans Am
Very cool car!
Each of those mid-70's Firebirds/Trans Am's were unique.
The year before had black wrap-around bumper moldings and the year after had square headlights.
I had a 1974 Trans Am in the same colour. It too was unique with black wrap-around bumper moldings and the last of the flat rear window. Pre-catalytic converter days. Looking at yours makes me miss mine.
Nice find!
Cheers, Ken

Re: Trans Am to replace my Trans Am
That's beautiful. I really miss the days when you could get several different colours for your interior instead of every single car they make with the same colour. That white and red is sharp! I had a white IROC with red interior and it looked great. If it works half as good as it looks you will get tons of pleasure from it. Enjoy.

Nice Car ! Welcome back to the Club of Distinguished Second Gen Firebird owners. The interior and paint looks to be in great shape. What are the heads?
