Just thought id give you an example Vetty, of what my Old 88 ran with a T5 at cayuga, around 2 and a half 3 years ago...it had a crate ZZ4, with a demon 650, 1.6rrs, headers, 3 inch exhaust, etc etc, the car weighed somewhere about 3600 lbs with me in it...im just thinking it might be a good comparison, that day i ran 9 or 10 passes...it was about 10 degrees C out and i was struggling to hook after a few passes on the BFG DRs....if i remember correctly the car put down somewhere around 310 315 rwhp and 345 350 rwtq, roughly...keep in mind it was cold, my tires were almost bald and i had a passenger, which would make my car a good 3700 3800lb car... anyways, a 5 speed car, lauches between 3000-3500rpms with a decent clutch, and 373 gears in a 10 bolt...
R/T: .378

1/8: 8.379 @ 81.2 MPH
1000ft: 11.120
1/4: 13.416 @ 101.48
what played a big roll was not caring about what happens to the car, just have fun, at the end of the night i started dumping the clutch at 3700 4000 rpms, since it wasnt a daily driver, i just wanted to run the best time if it breaks ill save up and fix it, as simple as that...whats CAA for? push it to the street and call them
being nervous doesnt help at all...
just my 2 cents...i know i got carried away...
