Fast intake and cammed LS1 C5 vette either the guy can't drive, the car cant hook or the motor is tired... Could be all of the above too

Re: LS 4.8L junk....
I dunno whats wrong with the people in that thread...or why anyone thinks its a 4.8L, but the test/article was done with an LM7, which is a 5.3L.
Either way thats super cool that it was able to make 1203hp stock short block.
I wonder what it wouldve made though stock long block AND pump gas.

I wonder what it wouldve made though stock long block AND pump gas. If it's the HotRod twin-eBay-turbo build when they tore the motor down they found out it was a 4.8 not a 5.3 engine. Difference between the two is internal and you can't tell without running the VIN or opening it up.

Re: LS 4.8L junk....
lol i see alot of blown up 4.8l in the future. it is one thing to do it in a magazine, but quite another for a guy to do it in his garage without all of the tuning applications etc. Right now there are a whole lot of younger guys out there maxing out their credit cards because this article says it is possible to do .
