yes the 305 knock sensor is different than the 350 sensor, start there, also recheck the timing. When you did the camshaft did you put a new timing chain on(did you put any advance into the cam as well). I have never heard that the spark control module is different than between the 305 and 350

I am tired and a tad fuzzy headed right now, but pretty sure I am still using the stock ESC from my 305 in my car

I will stark with the knock sensor.
I am not sure if any advance was put on the cam when it was put in. I will play with the timing again this season, but it seamed like I could never get it to "ping" to know I went too far.

Once I get the intake, runners and plenum on going to set it to stock, see if I can get the tune tweaked than go from there.

When I had it out last I started keeping recording timing and result, and IIRC when I turned it back a few deg. it worked better.

The knock sensor and module are different part numbers for 305/350. Whether that will be an issue with custom tuning I can't say. If it is tuned properly then the knock retard would really only be needed if you get a bad tank of fuel.

Yeah, I had read that somewhere also, wondered if it could be a reason the car didn't always feels strong. But maybe it was the affects of the stock intake, with the new intake parts hopefully it will help.
Thanks Flame for your input.
