Post Removing MAF from SLP Lid's.
Ive done some reading and from what i can find they say the easiest way about is to use a hair dryer to heat it up and it should slide out. Ive sat here for about 5-10 mins heating the bastard up and she will spin but it wont pop out. I know they are fragile so thats why im trying to becareful but i just cant get it to move from the outer ridge of the maf housing from the inside. Anyone have any better tips to remove it? Why am i taking it out? Im selling it as i got it with the Lid when i bought and trying to recoup some costs.

Thanks

Just sell the one off your car and leave it in the lid. If you break the lid or the MAF you're gonna be pissed!

Matt you need to heat it from all angles, even under the lid.

A heat gun works better but the HD on 1500 or High should get it done.
