So i was looking at replacing my edelcrap carb and everywhere i read, the quickfuels have good reviews

ANYHOW

Looking at their model for my engine i know i'm looking at a 650CFM for a 350 bored 20 over redline i'm assuming is around 6k

So back to topic, looking at the models they offer i figure the 650HR or the 650SS mech secondaries

but looking at both of them i honestly cant tell what the difference is between the 2 and why they have 100 bucks difference on the price tag

can anyone clear this up?

are anular boosters worth it?

The SS is a nicer piece but I dont think you need it. Looking at the link, the HR comes in both mechanical and vacuum secondaries. They both should work OK. Generally speaking the VS is easier to get going but not as quick as the MS..I prefer the MS but its really on what you use the car for and your knowledge and/or preference with either system. Bottom line they both will work.

I wouldnt bother with the annular for you application..This is another debate on its own..lol

Agreed, i've been reading quite a bit about the different boosters and man, what a shit show!

Also i'm going MS, thats whats on the car now, might as well keep it as it is right?

So to summarize.... its a 100$ difference solely due to looks alone..... good to know haha

I think there is a difference but not worth it IMO..

edelbrock is not ms really, the air flap on top of the secondarys acts like a vacuum secondary, if it was truly mech secondary it would need another accelerator pump. quick fuel should be good.
