I need alignment specs that would be good for these parts. Mainly street driven but I have dreams of playing in road courses. 17x9.5 wheels (vette) 275/40/17 tires Koni Yellows Moog springs Poly end links 34mm sway(might swap to smaller) I needed alignment because I swapped to C4HD brakes/1LE spindles,1.5" spacers(might switch to 2"). Anybody know wheres a good place to do a performance alignment in Mississauga |

any good alignment shop should be able to do what you want tell them what camber/caster u want and toe in/out. it all depends how much track you will do compare to street driving. |

Thats the thing I don't know what specs to tell them. The way I understand it even a tire height change changes the correct specs |

toe zero, camber -.05 deg, caster is more of a feel thing. You'll need to fiddle with caster left/right on each car now ( age etc ) to get it tracking true and feeling the way you like it. I like lots of caster, its snappier and more spirited but a bit more of a handful to hang onto. I set caster mostly myself after the alignment if you trace the outline of the strut cap onto the tower you can move it CAREFULLY forward/backwards to set caster to your liking. IIRC mine is set to MAX on the drivers side 6? And the pass was one degree off ( 5 ) to compensate for road crown but it wasnt enough, it still pulled pretty hard to the right so I decreased the pass side caster until it tracked nicely by hand and I dont know the number now obviously, but it tracks nice. |

Looks good too. |

I think part of my problem is that I use a B-body hub to get the 1LE size bearing. There is more offset. I think I can do without the spacer if I find thirdgen 1LE hubs. Doug, Ill look at wheels when the RA1s are gone |
