4thgen ZR1's on my IROC
Without searching TGO, LS1tech etc I want to know what spacers I would need to put these on my car. I would assume 1 1/2 to 2" spacer? Fronts are 17x9.5 and rears are 17x11. My car has LS1 front brakes if that means anything. Rear is 3rdgen. Are spacers bad to run? I mean are they weak, break off etc. I have long studs too, I would think that would be an issue with spacers.

Hey Steve. I think likely 2 inch would work for the street but I would not use a slip on spacer. What you need are adapters that bolts on. I have a friend with a set of four 17x9 rims for sale. http://toronto.kijiji.ca/c-cars-vehicle ... Z275113421I have another friend with a nice set of four black 17x11 rims and a pair of silver 17x11 rims. And of course my set of sticker 275/40/17 Hankook Z211s.

Re: 4thgen ZR1's on my IROC
At least two inch spacers. I have Z06 replicas in the back of the convertible but its the same offset as OEM.My wheels are 18x10 and 305/35/18 R1 tires. My spacers are either a 2.25" or 2.5". You could go smaller but you might have to cut the bump stops/mount.My spacers are old Skulte hub centric and uses the stock thirdgen lug nuts.

Thanks for the input guys. I'm going to hold off on using bigger rims and go with some double line IROC's. Know where I could find some?

You have less choices in 16" compared to 17" tires nowadays IMO

Re: 4thgen ZR1's on my IROC
Yeah I was reading about that a few days ago. Even the GSD3's seem to be on back order and/or canceled. What's all that about? I really want to go for that stealthy look with this car but if things change in the future then knowing I need 2" spacers to fit the ZR1 rims is half the battle.

I got 2" spacers to run my Z06 rims, had to do abit of masaging in the wheel well to make them fit though

The front, rear or both? Are they the 17x9.5's?

Re: 4thgen ZR1's on my IROC
2" spacers on all 4 paws, the fronts are the 17" and the rears are 18" x 10.5", only the rears rub'd and needed the massaging, the fronts clear fine

Hey Doug how much does this guy want for the black or silver 17X11 ZR1's? Any pics? Come with rubber?

Re: 4thgen ZR1's on my IROC
Noooooo single irocs are waaay nicer then the doubles! Your gonna confuse my poor old car, not like it isnt with all the non 3rd gen stuff lol Ps long arp studs will screw ya and the bump stops are already gone for a bigger tire Jay

Re: 4thgen ZR1's on my IROC
Hahah Jay, yeah already noticed the lack of bumpstops, good job! I'll rock the single lines for now, see what happens in the future. Need rear tires though...wonder why...
