Post Aftermarket 3rd Gen CD that Fits ?
My Factory cassette is giving me trouble and i want to upgrade to cd Having trouble finding a factory one in decent shape.

Are there any aftermarket units that fill the full size of the factory hole for a nice neat look ? I've seen too many that have to be filled in with a plastic spacer/panel and it doen't look that great to me.

The aftermarket deck that fill the space up entirely are called 1.5 din. They are not made anymore.

On a good note, plastic spacers have come a long way.

Check out humount.com. They have spacers that can be customized. :D

Thanks for the reply. There were a few pioneer 1.5Din radios on Ebay but they were used and no guarantees.
I just picked up a New Factory CD from MASS auto radio yesterday. Got an adapter plug from old style GM to new style GM and it fits and looks great.

Just for some extra info,

Some of the marine radios are 1.5 din as well.

Pyle makes a few
JVC still makes 1.5din
Boss still makes a few 1.5din

You might want to look at these guys for an adapter.

I have one in my car and they look great. BTW the Formula lights up red, just not pics of that. I think they have Blue as well.

BTW they are made in Hamilton.
