Post HELP!! Where do these plugs go?
The first pic is of the three plugs that are coming out from under the passenger side dash' It is hard to see the one plug, but it is a white square plug with a bunch of prongs. I labelled all my plugs before I disconnected them, however these plugs either I missed them, or the labels came off or I just didn't need them to do the reinstall into the '82. Also note, the dash came from a car with AC and is going into a Non AC car.I have no plans to install AC into the new car.

The next photo show four black plugs (one is for the Heater/AC control unit which isn't being installed). They all come out above the radio/heater control pod.

Anyone with any ideas, I would love to hear from you.
Thanks

What's the harness out of? Model/year?
Digital dash, analog?

Good chance the white one is for the UQ7 amplifier
The black ones could be the digital dash hook ups as I recall they are quite different than the analog setup.
More info!

Can't hook up a manual A/C control box to a digital A/C head unit. Plugs don't fit.
Digital dash heater core housing is slightly different and is operated by solenoids.
Manual heater core housing is vacuum controlled.

Hope this helps

Hey thanks Merc. The original 82 non AC/heater control unit is what I plan on keeping, I never disconnected it, but I do have one gray wire from it that is just hanging there. Not sure if that is a power supply or what. The 87 had AC and I kept the entire wiring harness from it, so I will have to figure out what is for AC and what isn't. All I want is that the heater works, not that I really need it, as it is a summer car anyhow. But it would be good to have anyhow.
Thanks again for the diagrams...

Grey wire is usually for accessory/courtesy lights from what I've found with the digital harness.

I actually need the digital fan/AC wiring so that I can hook my digital heater controls up instead of the manual ones.

Let me know if you'd like to swap a digital fan harness for an analog fan harness as it'd take me the weekend to isolate and remove.

But am totally up for doing it as it'll allow me to restore the digital controls to proper.
