Post Interior LEDs
Hey,

I recently bought a bunch of LEDs from superbrightleds.com to replace the stock gauge bulbs and the dome light, and I was trying to replace the bulbs in the map lights on the rearview mirror and have found they dont fit back into the lense? they seem to be to wide? Has anyone else had this problem?

Thanks
Brent

Depending on the brand an LED bulb can be quite a bit bigger than a 194 filament bulb.

thats what I figured. But after reading through the posts on TGO, other people have used the same LEDs and have had no problems. I dont know if I should just force them in, but I dont want to break the plastic on the socket or the housing.

I bought replacement LEDs for all the bulbs in my car. The gauge cluster has been giving me nothing but problems with bulbs not working etc. The only bulbs you can get that will fit in the tail light sockets are no brighter than your standard 1157 and your front driving light/turn signal bulbs will not work in LED. I have yet to find one that will work with the signals. Overall it's been a very disappointing investment.

I put tractor trailer LED licence plate lights in my car in the dome and footwell areas and man its bright in there now. I can give you one rule when it come to LED's the cheaper they are the crappier they are

I have had no problems with the gauge cluster LED bulbs so far, or any LEDs i've boughten from superbrightleds.com. I have them in the cluster, map lights, dome light and license plate lights in my iroc and in the map lights, reverse lights, trunk light, and license plate lights in my wife's 09 ford focus ses.

Overdrive sells the part you need to make the turn signals work

Seriously? Thx for the tip. I was about to say F it and put HID's in there and wire the halogen bulbs to my signals. I'll PM him
