Post subject:  Vintage Wheels and Wings Cruise

Toronto Trans Ams is holding it's first cruise event July 19th to the Vintage Wheels and Wings Car Show at the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum in Hamilton.

We are calling it the "Birds with Birds Cruise", as for a $5 donation, you will be able to photograph your car with the aircraft. Fighters, bombers etc.

Cars participating in the show get in for free (driver and 1 passenger). All others pay regular admission fee of $12.
Cars participating must be at least 20 years old.

Who Hooo!!!! I just made the cutoff and am super stoked to go back to Hamilton! Wills GM hosted an event last year and it poured before I could get a photo taken with a warbird. The Lancaster on display was a dream come true as I crawled through the cockpit and bomb bay areas of that exceptional vintage aircraft. Really looking forward to this show!

A reminder for the Firebird Folks

Toronto TransAms would love to have you join in Our First Event ! We are going to the Vintage Wheels and Wings Show, held at the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum in Hamilton.

DATE: July 19, 2015
LOCATION: Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum 9280 Airport Road Mount Hope, ON
TIME: 9 am - 4 pm
ADMISSION: Regular admission rates apply to visitors. Admission is free for car driver and one passenger who displays a vehicle in the show.
DETAILS: Bring your vintage vehicle to be part of our show or just drop by to enjoy the BBQ and view the beautiful collection of vintage cars and aircraft.

Car owners may take pictures in front of a vintage aircraft for a minimum donation of $5 to the Museum. This is a great opportunity for some unforgettable pictures of your Firebird with Vintage Warplanes. Aircraft Collection
Meet-up Locations and Departure Times for Sunday Morning
Primary meet-up - Tim Horton's at Trafalgar Road and the QEW, at 7: 30AM
Optional Meet-up - The Canadian Tire parking lot at 1608 The Queensway (Street Classics site) at 7:00AM
For those that want to meet at the show, we should be arriving between 8:00AM and 8:30AM.
The show fills up quickly, so we are going early to get a good spot.

Note: Cars must be older than 20 years to participate in the show for free I am not happy about this....but it is their rule.
