Thanks Brian, your support at the track and on the forums is appreciated.

Having friends like You and Dan and Joe that give me great deals helps.

Lets not forget Kevin who made me aware this Blue Beast was FS cheap.

BTW Andy and his Camaro SS are at the track almost as much as me now

Does the ram air hood weigh less? If not I think it would just cause extra drag if your using the SSRA.

Yes the stock hood is 50/55 and the RA is about 30/35.

I don't think there would be that much drag, they used them on the factory Showroom Stock roadrace cars from 97-99 and they were looking for every advantage possible back then.

I need a Firebird rear hatch to get rid of the heavy rear spoiler,I found a NBM one in Kentucky but thats a bit far

Picked up my slicks and skinnies today 8)

I was poing to just paint them black but it looks like they will polish up nice.

I am going to do any massaging needed to fit these in the spring.

Ran a new PB today, the car ran 6x12.2xx and bunch of 12.3xx's and few where I blew the tires off.

Right off the bat at 11:30 it ran a 12.278 and a 12.269 hot lapping.

Then around 3pm it ran a 12.265 at 110.52 with a 1.750 60ft

I think thats it for the year the car count was low and they probably will just shut it down now :(

Thought I would update this thread today.

Just bought my new MT 315/50/15 DR's today at PI, next up is a set of 185/65/15 radials for the front runners.

My FTR is waiting to go on also a set of LS2 36lb injectors with the proper adapters for the body and harness.

Opening day is April 6th which is only 20 days away 8)

Update the car is unchanged from last year.

Today they only ran the 1/8th today at TMSP,it was busy so I left after 2 runs.

The DA was 1350 ft

Run 1 at 12:45 pm 60ft 1.837 1/8th 8.045 at 87.06mph

Run 2 at 1:10 pm 60ft 1.853 1/8th 8.069 at 87.09 mph

That works out to about 12.4 at 109mph in the 1/4.

Just when you think your done with bolt ons a new one comes along...truck coils.

Lets see if they are cheap HP or another tall tale :P

The coils go on untuned this weekend.

Then I am going to send the second computer back to Frost for the LS2 injectors,85mm MAF,more dwell on the coils and some slightly firmer shifts.
