SLP MAF tucked in beside filter, will take some closups once finished.
Accessories can be found at Nook and Tranny, great guy to deal with. Google site, tons of stuff and priced very competitive.
No converter, went with the T56 6-speed and Z06 clutch in the picture above. I just seen the old converter and thought you were still going auto

Re: Project: Z069
I hope you are gonna change those "CORVETTE" fuel rail covers. I'm sure if you wanted a vette you would have bought one. That has got to be the most over used term "My cars got a Corvette motor in it". Here a couple options that would look much better IMO. http://www.professional-products.com/accessories.php middle of the page Or if you wanna keep the big block look http://www.holley.com/242-1.asp

Re: Project: Z069
Thank you for your opinion and links, but will be keeping the Vette ones and a Camaro cover to follow this spring. Will be switching it up between the two.

Most people don't understand what kind of engine is in our cars, once I say it has a Vette engine they seem to get it. I like the look of the Vette covers.

Re: Project: Z069
Great job tony looks excellent, I just hate seen a resto mod on a car that clean. I woulda built up the big block. But i'm sure you'll enjoy the better fuel economy and clener look.

Re: Project: Z069
You're doing a great job and it looks really good , but I have to admit that I've never been a fan of how the LS's look especially with the Corvette covers looks a little too plastic and made by Mattel look about it , but that's just me , I like the look of a raw engine in a car not sheilds and plastic . I swear some day somebody's going to make a kit where you can put all that plastic on anything you want and there will be a whole bunch of 4 cly running around under Corvette covers

Re: Project: Z069
Maybe should have called this the mattel project , but seriously, thanks for the compliment and input. This project is not finished and a lot of things have not been finalized yet. Engine compartment details and upgraded seating with classic design to keep me planted are still up in the air. Everything is coming together so nicely at this point, more pics to follow.
