Re: under pressure bird
They have never forced me to go through the puddle of water, I always go around and nobodys ever told me otherwise, they just dont like you or they are scared to see what would happen with wet tires on a TPI

Re: under pressure bird
Well SHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIT, hurt the old bird a bit sat, think i vented a piston, still ran 9s that run but lost power in high gear. It was making power like a raped ape and couldn't keep it hooked, peddling 3 to 4 times a pass running low 9s but 157 mph. Didnt have time to look at the boost guage since i had my hands full trying to keep the old girl straight. suspect she went over the 15psi boost my fuel was safe for. Had to borrow drag bike Matts pickup sun to run points race and cut a good light but broke out by .02

Re: under pressure bird
Took the old beater to the track last weekend to help put some rubber down, i sure was putting the rubber down but got her down to a 9.2@149 mph before sat was out then we ran 8th mile on sunday and got rained out just before elminations. Was a pretty good weekend, its cool being able to pull 3 hot laps with this car without stopping while the others are looking at it scratchin their head. Could go more if i threw more ice in intercooler cell. only 170 degrees engine temp coming up return road after 3rd pass New carb took some tuning to get air fuel happy though. All in all it was a good weekend and didn't even burn through 50 bucks of gas making about 15 1/4 mile passes and 7 1/8th mile runs.
