Well for as long as i've had my car and tinkered with it, i figured i'd start a "project" thread.
I have lots to do to it this spring, so this should be good.
I work out of town and was greeted with this when i got home.
i'm psyched!!!

Alright for those of you that need to get up to speed on my car. I bought the car 10 years ago (wow already?) i was 16 and she's the first car i ever bought Here's how she looked. Tried my best to look like a kid in the 80s for the picture, i understand my jeans still weren't tight enough  looks like she needed a bit of work, so we got to it. Rebuilt the 305, painted her and redid the interior     Had her on the road the next summer looking like this    I wasn't too impressed with my paint job and i need to replace the driver side door after someone tried to steal my car So it was back in the paint booth (my garage)   And she came out way better, though next time i think i'll get a pro to do it    I was bored one day and decided, "hey let's put a cam shaft in the car easy peasy" yes brilliant idea!    While the thing is in pieces might as well bolt on some headers  then that was over with and i got bored again. So i had another genius idea of just swapping the guts out of the rear end for a limited slip   Terrific. i should be good for a while eh? No dice, i then had another one of my fabulous ideas, get rid of the 3-0-slow and just rebuild a 350 i mean, how hard can it be right?   So the cam bearing knocker is a little large... ok its for big diesels, still worked like a charm  Hey, i do work also.... sometimes man do i need a haircut!     Time to drop her in    Even the little brother lend a hand     well now i had to back that thing up with a decent tranny, unfortunately i forgot my camera and i have no pictures of that. So you'd think i'd be happy now right? wrong! had to install more parts, pro kit spring, pan hard bar and the strut tower brace doesn't fit... bummer     Well last spring was a slow one, with the parents moving and all but i got a few things done New RCA with relocation brackets, Pro 5.0 shifter and knick knacks like the dash emblam and new centercaps      So here's what i got litering my garage that i need to install this spring Valvetrain Baer Brakes Sub frame connectors Autometer gauges (this has been litering for a good 3 or 4 years, gotta get er done) Parts i need to buy and install this spring Adjustable torque arm with a new crossmember to relocate the torque arm mount stay tuned |

Nice build up! Reminds me of my 94 of all the steps in its life till now. I just havent done had the main body of the car but just about everything else has been. Feels great to get this far till you realize how much youve dumped into it and what else you could have in your driveway

Nice job! Is that a performer rpm intake? What air cleaner setup are you using under the stock hood? |

Thanks Guys, first time i put it all in a chronological order..... made me realize as you said Vetty, what else could i have in my driveway by now, but then again if i didnt have the car, i would of just spent that money on something else anyhow. |

Ya performer RPM intake, the aircleaner is an edelbrock elite series triangular air cleaner, all the round ones would have clearance issues either with the hood or the distributor... this one still rubs a bit under the hood but oh well.. i'll get a new one once i get a cowl. |

So in the last couple of weeks i got a bit of work done. Replaced the valve train and front brakes, now today and to do the rears, install the new prop valve and bleed the brakes and tomorrow hopefully get the engine running.    the brakes are massive    The stock IROC wheel just barely fits, needed to get 3/4 inch spacers and longer studs to make it work and i'm playing with the minimum clearance allowed, i cant say enough about the guys at Baer helping me out, top notch customer service.
