Re: martins firebird
Thanks. I was looking at a 6 speed swap but after looking over some of the wiring diagrams I decided to stick with the automatic

Re: martins firebird
Ok so here's the plan for the V6 port and polish the heads, bore the block, install cam, replace oil pump, timing chain, paint the block and heads black, paint the valve covers. Tune the computer( anyone know a shop to tune a 3.8 )

Re: martins firebird
Update time. I have my heads off and are in the hands of the fine people of rudy helds out of newhamburgh getting a valve job and new springs. Going to pull the harmonic balancer within the next few weeks so I can do my timing chain, oil pump and install my cam. Then it's reassembly time. Once all of that is complete it's time for a well deserved wash and wax. Once my heads come in the push is on to get it back on the road
