Got tired of the ls3 block, ls6 intake ls4 5.3 heads ls1 blah blah... I mean such a mish mash of parts. so I decided on ls3 heads and intake.

on another note I will have a ls6 intake and stage 2.5 5.3 heads available for sale soon...

Are you going to LS3/L99/L92 heads and intake now, i take it?

Make sure you change the cam too! L92's need to have a good amount of duration split that emphasizes on the exhaust side. Cams designed for cathedral port heads just dont work well at all on L92 setups.

And congrats! The stock LS3 intake manifold is one of the best flowing their is for non LS7 setups and even stock ls3 heads flow incredible numbers.

The heads are take off ls3 heads and intake. the cam in there now is already split duration with more exhaust duration. ive been planning this for over a year when I did a cam swap last summer.

235/238 115+3 0.620 0.615

Torque holds 400ft/lb from 2800 to 6200. Peaks at 6000rpm but carries over to 6500 fine. Rev limiter set to 6700. its a nice flat torque curve right now probably being held back by my 2.5 duals which are also kinda oil sludge coated due to my oil burning from my valveguide issue on my previous heads.

Quite happy with it. Its very well behaved on street. 0 idle issues no drivability problems and no surging. Hitting 8.5 l per 100 or 28 mpg. Its good for 600 km per tank

Cool!

As for mileage? I dont bring it up anymore because it seems to bring out the haters for whatever reason... BUT.... I did over 800kms on 65 liters in my 87 L92 swap a few weeks back. All in one night! LOL. 6.2L of muscle, style, and good times and STILL competing with the Prius crowd :rotflol

Hotrods forever

I have yet to clean up street aspect of the tune! It's tuned for wot right now only and running off MAF only for the moment. Once I bring the MAP back into play and dial it in (I've been sick the past week), I can probably eek out some more city and highway mileage. As it is, I've been playing it safe since I know the MAF is dialed in correctly but LTFT is currently disabled.

Damn that's nice, I get average 550 to a tank, driving like I drive, but if baby'd I have hit over 700 before, that's an LS1 with 2:73's

Spent 2 hours street tuning map. LS3 setup requires significantly less fuel (almost 20% in some areas). LS3 MAP tuning is actually equational in nature so tough to compare to LS1.
