Housing painted - always go with black

Just need to finish off the tail shaft and install the stall. Also have a TCI Alum pan going on next week.

Looks good. I have a question though. How hard was that servo to install and do you think it would be possible to do with the transmission in the car

Hi Mike,

The swap was pretty straight forward. I've read of guys swapping the servo out with the trans in the car.

Don't forget, I have your Edelbrock STB here.

Time to get back and finish off the engine.

Holley AFPR Installed

Image

New South Side Injectors installed. Due to the TPIS runner size, had to remove the valve covers for clearance.

Image

Back view of the motor with all the sensors and plug-ins completed

Image

Valve covers re-installed. Not a fan of the wire harness on top of the valve covers. Might try spliting the loom in two and running them under the runner. Also re installed the MSD coil

Image

Driver's side. Tucked the wire harness under the runners.

Image

Hope to get the engine running next week. Want to test the motor before it gets installed.

Cleaning up the engine all last week. Installed Made-4-You 10.5 mm wire holders. These were the best ones to clear the SLP A.I.R. tubes (the do stick out a bit).

Few things to clean up the pass side of the engine;
Took the main wire harness that usually runs along the top of the valve cover and made two smaller wire harness sets. Then tucked them under between the runners and the side of the valve cover.
Didn't like the way the tubing ran from the TB, along the top of the valve cover and into the gromet opening. Found a rubber 90 degree elbow, smaller tubing, hose connector and ran everything thru the runners instead. Installed some plastic loom to clean up the look a bit.

Pass side of engine. Wiring harness ahs been tucked under between the runners and the valve covers. Adding boots to the spark plug wires.
Image

Fuel hard lines painted and installed. New O rings added as well.
Image

Close up shot of the throttle body open....ALL CLEAR :D

Hey project

Looks great so far. Mind if I ask where you bought your headers with the air tubes. Been trying to figure out which set I want to go with and yours look great.

Picked the the SLP's from kijiji. SLP stopped making them a few years back.

Dyno Don headers (on TGO) work very well. You can also buy them from Top Down Solutions, Don (the owner) is a great guy to deal with.

Spent the better part of Sunday trying to get the motor started. Plugged in all the sensors and relays but didn't realize that the MSD box wasn't giving out any spark. Removed the Digital 6 and she started to crank over.

Trying to get the motor started....need more F___ gas.
