how many miles are on the car?

I kind of forget. Till it has power I can not say for sure.

I think it is 115-120k.

I drove it stock as a summer DD from 1999 till 2004, about 80k. Then did a H/C and put 8k on it. Then in 2005 did a 412 LS2 and used it 2005-2007 and put 5-6k on it per year. 2008 and 2009 torn apart till the fall of 2009. 2010 was about 6-7k. 2011 was another down year. 2012 is the year!!!!!!

Transmission today.

Spent a fair bit of time on the clutch set up and clearances. New aluminum flywheel should make it al ittle more rev happy and maybe less hit on the wheels at the strip. Hopefulyl get it to hook up better.

Nice little hand clamp pulled it together very smoothly, no hammers needed.



All buttoned up.



Drive shaft then exhaust. There will be some cutting to get the new headers, new 4 1/2" green cats to work with the new cat back. Going to use tri clamps for the cat to collector connections.

Not that the car is done, but a few new bobbles for it.

Getting some hydro graphics done. I always hated all the plain grey plastic. So now it will have a little CF mixed in.The pics are before layers of clear coat to smooth it out.

Doing the gage hood, console, door handle surround and the door switches. Doing some tests on speaker grills too.

Where do you get the hydro graphics done?

This guy is doing fair bit for me on the Magnum and the Firebird.

A picture of the door plates installed. I think they look a lot bettetr than the textured plastic. I do want black rocker switches now though.

Also installed my Momo wheel with a 2" extension. Wanted a clean look so had a billet sleeve machined to make it match the diameter. May leave the sleeve polished or paint it flat black.

I'll be going with the same setup for brakes next year. What is the part number for your kit being that it's the "narrow" 6R?

Also, have you tried the stock WS6 wheels on it yet? What pad compound are you planning to run?

BTW it does not come with brake lines and stockers do not fit.

I will try the stock WS6 rims tomorrow, as they are on the rear and plan to put the TTM back on the rear.

As for pads, same compound you bought from me, XP12s. I have them already. Tomorrow I will install them after doing the safety wires on the rotors.

I would guess they will fit fine though, I think the TTMs are tighter.

WS6 wheels fit, maybe 0.06" closer.
