issue with brakes..
i recently redid my front brakes on my camaro as the front of the car was always trying to pull to the center of the road when the brake pedal was pressed. so i figured the passenger side front caliper was acting up so i put new calipers, rotors, pads, and bearings in it the other day took it for a drive and it was still pulling to the center of the road but then the passenger side caliper locked and heated up while driving. so we thought the caliper was no good so i got a new replacement caliper and rotor from warranty. got it back on today and same thing again! it pulls to the left the passenger side front caliper locked up and started to heat up.
i'm thinking something else other then the caliper is wrong... anyone know what it could be?

It could be the rubber brake line to the caliper.

If the rubber one is partially collapsed it'll let the pressure in but then not fully release it back and the pads will drag and heat up the rotor/caliper.

They don't expand under pressure so all the line pressure ends up in the caliper. Russell has kits for disc/drum or disc/disc. You can get the kit local at PI, or order it online. Replace your lines, bleed your brakes. I would change out the fluid too, you've already changed everything else so..lol Good luck

i replaced mine last year with and went back to the stock rubber line, you would not beleive the difference it made

A silly question, but have you had the alignment checked?
I have had the alignment pull on the car when braking before, and not so much when just driving. It may also identify any worn or loose suspension parts that when loaded are twisting, causing the pull.
With the new calipers, I would think this a very possible cause. Braking puts a lot of additional stress on the parts that they do not see when just cruising along.
Just before my lower control arm broke, the symptom was a pull to the right under braking.

Not the russel kit no. But similar. 65 bux for 3 braided lines from a company. That deals with the gm dealer my dad works at.

actually no i had mine seize up on the side of the road, so i ended up doin them right there all i could get on short notice were a rubber set from crappy tire, good thing i had my cell phone on me, and my wife was at home. At first thought it was the caliper so i pulled it off and replaced it, but when i went to bleed it no fluid would come out of it, so i sent her off to get the rubber hose. I got it up and runnning and then went and got the hose and another new caliper for the other side, and changed it out at home. I also flushed new fluid through the whole system at that time. I probably will never put a braided set on a vehicle.
