Post Borrow a drive shaft?
Does anybody have a drive shaft that I could beg borrow or steal, my car has a nasty vibration starting at 80 and gets worse as the speed goes up and I'd like to try a different drive shaft before I go and have one made. I've had the rear end rebuild, and the transmission has been rebuilt , I did have the drive shaft balance but I'm not sure if the balance take care of high-speed vibrations. The car is an 86 with a five speed.

Should I have a three or three and a half inch drive shaft made instead of a two-and-a-half like the stock one?

I have one u can have, but I'm a long drive and it needs a U-joint

Are the tires balanced and good?

and no need to have one made, just buy an Alum LS1 shaft, heck even a L98/LT1 1Le shaft would be fine :)

I have a drive shaft out of my 86 Camaro with a 5 speed, you can have it if you want to pay to shipping, or if you are in Winnipeg you can pick it up
