Maybe a bent or broken trans linkage.

Stupid question, but have you checked the fluid level??
If there is not enough fluid in there, it will not engage into any gear.

tranny fluid is fine, all started, when I try to shift to park, and it won't hold the car anymore. 4 days later, it won't shift to any gears at all. bringing it to the mechanic shop for a diagnose, hopefully it's nothing major.

Re: tranny problem on a 95 firebird v6
If you shift it to park and it wont hold the car it usually mean there's a disconnect on the shifter and tranny. Go underneath and shift the tranny to park(twist the linkage counter clockwise til it stops,if that doesnt work try going clockwise til it stops).Maybe its the linkage in the column or the linkage on the tranny. Either way it doesnt sound like a tranny problem
