Post 95 Firebird w/LT1
A friend of ours has a 95 Firebird with an LT1, it is full of oil, the pressure gauge is functioning but there is a low oil pressure light on, anyone have any suggestions as to what it could be?
Thanks,
Ajay86

The engine is old tired and worn out?

Maybe hook up a mechanical guage and see what it reads.

Sounds like the "LOW OIL" level message. The sensor is in the left side of the pan.

x2... it is a very common issue nothing to be alarmed about just keep an eye on it and replace the sensor in the pan when they do the next oil change.
