I am having a bit of a problem with my e brake light on the dash. It stays on after I released the brake. Now, if I turn the key to ignition without starting the car, the light will go off when I release it it and come back on when I apply it. However, once I start it, it stays lit. So I know the switch in the console appears to be working, so what else could it be? I checked my fluid reservoir and it is fine... BTW this is for the 95 Camaro with the 6 sp. |

Check the ground as I think thats all it works on. Try cleaning the contact points and see if that works. I had the same issue on my 89 and I cleaned the points where it connects to and its been fine since |

Yuppers, bare wire in the console from a previous owner trying to install a remote start. Left the wire grounding out the ebrake and caused my horn fuse to blow as well. All is good now...Thanks |
