Post Intermittent power window fail
Looking for help with this problem. Sometimes driver's window won't move when switch pushed. It happens it different positions. I have been able to get it working by pulling or pushing on the window while I hit the switch. Does this sound like a failing motor problem or is it likely the window mechanism? Any information would be appreciated. Thanks.

Common. Motor is packing in, but the good news is a few hard smacks on the door panel down lower front usually is enough to "shake" the brushes out of their dead spot and it will work again and will progress until it completely dies. FWIW I have had cars that I did this too for years, but the fix is to change to motor. Unless of course there is obvious wiring damage or the like

You could likely take the motor off and apart and clean it all up and it will work fine if you want to save a few bucks and are handy..
