Hi all, Jay from Woodstock, Ontario. I'm new to this forum but not at all new to the car scene. I'm a technology guy by day, but my passion for cars keeps me in the garage most nights. I just picked up a 2011 Camaro LS last week, and I love it. Certainly makes the ride to work a little more fun Here's some links to a few of my past projects 1985 Fiero (sold) - sat in a field for 10 years before I picked it up. Complete rebuild, re-body, paint, engine upgrade, etc. https://www.facebook.com/thebrintnells/ ... 729&type=3 2002 Toyota Celica (sold) - Bought as a write-off... rebuilt front end and engine, safety system redone, rebranded to roadworthy, upgraded sound system, body kit, etc I am really a GM guy, but needed a change of pace. This was more of a Fast 'n Furious type build with my boys, just for fun. https://www.facebook.com/thebrintnells/ ... 729&type=3 Currently in the shop - 1999 Sunfire GT Convertible - replaced interior, fixing sunroof, rebuilt 0KM 2.4L engine on the stand waiting to go in once I finish the brake lines. This one will be for my teenagers to run about with. Lastly, we've got a 2010 Chev Cobalt as the grocery getter and a 2009 For E350 12 seater as my family hauler. Anyhow, I was active for a long time in the Pontiac Fiero and Toyota forums and car clubs, look forward to meeting a few of you folks! J |

Hey Jay, Welcome to CCFBG! Nice ride buddy, enjoy it and look after it ! it certainly makes the drive to work more enjoyable! Lots of mods out there for a V6, I would say stay away from the exhaust mods unless you like the Honda sound but I'm assuming you don't thus why you bought a Camaro. The less expensive cold air kits work just as well as the more expensive ones and actually wake the car up a little. if you have any questions, just ask were here to help! Mark |

Right on, guys thanks! You read my mind. I'm loving the car as it is and not in much hurry to mod this one besides maybe a CAI. I have an old Aem CAI in my shop I was thinking I might modify to see if I could make something work. Otherwise, no loss . There's not a spot of rust on this thing so it will be babied! I've be away on business all week, on the train home now. I miss my family, and can't wait to drive my car again. |
