Post Line-x on valve covers?
Never thought of this one for an overly sensitive knock module..also didn't know the LT4's had plastic covers for sound.

Spray the valve covers with Line-x!

That sounds like a decent idea but, (like the 2nd post said) its worthless without pix and how would bedliner hold up to the heat?

Just spray the inside of the cover would you not?

Another one to use would be spray on ceramic insulation.. http://www.lizardskin.com/
We used the industrial version of this stuff and it's pretty wild on hot piping.
It is supposed to do wonders on car interiors when used like dynamat.
