Hey Keith if you are going to Michigan race you will be in Detroit for the same weekend as Woodward Dream Cruise - worth checking out - stay on west side of Detroit do the cruise on Saturday then off the races on Sunday!

Sounds like a great idea...only prob is we're going down in a motorhome and staying in the infield, once your in you stay in...Hope everyone has a great time in Ohio 8)

HAHA! My digs. Hopefully I will see it around here on the roads, I'll be sure to tell the owner that the old owner put alot of blood, sweat and tears in that car. He used to go down to the states to car shows and rip and tear into the engine compartment on his back right there in parking lots....... :rotflol

..... all in good fun now, it helps add to the memories.

I was telling the new owner about that experience we had in Ohio, I'll never forget that for sure 8) . It's female owned now, her husband has a 96 TA with some head and cam work and she wanted her own to go to local cruise nights and such with him. If you see them, tell them I said hey, and your right about the blood, sweat and tears...Thanks Buddy

All good Keith. Hopefully I'll see them around, been years since I made it out to any cruise nights... wonder if they will ever head down to Ohio with either of their cars??? They do own a past winner now.
Even though you don't have a car now, you still need to go down.. maybe next summer. This year is the big 30 for it, my only concern is if it will make it to 40...???

Damn Dave, I was looking forward to cruising down there with you.

Is anyone going down on the Friday morning. If you are, let me know and we can cruise down together.

Sounds good Matt, it should be a great time. I heard that there is a cruise to Castrols Friday night as well as Tipp City on Saturday.

Tipp City is always a really high point of the weekend foe sure, ...there was just that one year 2 summers ago when they redid the city streets, had to cancel Tipp. But thats all the past, back to the fun!!!
