Badge of honor, leave it But if you really have to or want to... WD 40 a rag and a soft rubber/plastic scraper. Make sure you have a wash bucket of car soap handy to wash the WD off. BTW the best method is prevention either use the clear 3M plastic film or some low tack masking tape(green or blue) The clear plastic can be applied at home the tape once you get to the track.

Re: how to get rubber off quarters
I've heard a shot of cooking spray beforehand works well to get it off easier..never tried it though.

Re: how to get rubber off quarters
Ive tried a lot of stuff. Easy Off oven cleaner works best.
Tape up the lower 1/4's next time and peel and go. Pledge spray or any of that preprep crap didnt work for me at all.

^ Thats cool, I had not seen before. I sure miss that Yellow roundy bottle mothers wheel cleaner spray. BEST wheel cleaner EVER! Would get all the guck off my GTA wheels without any scrubbing but *sigh* they ditched it for some new weak stuff. Cant seem to find a good spray and go wheel cleaner anywhere anymore.
